Other woods such as Brazilian rosewood and master grade koa may be available on a
limited basis. Special wood choices for fretboards or binding may also be available. I
welcome special requests. Please inquire if you're looking for something a little different.
Semi-hollow Bass Model
The semi-hollow bass comes with standard top, back, sides & neck in select myrtle, walnut,
mahogany, black limba, maple or primavera. Figured top & back with matching headplate is
available for an upcharge of $50 to $100 depending on the wood and level of figure. Koa also
available starting at $25 to $150 more than the standard woods depending on level of figure.
I use polyurethane strings and the same high quality Hipshot tuners and K&K Sound pick-ups
that I use on the Big Bufo models. This model is fretless and has a 20.938" scale. Other
options such as custom inlay are available on special request at additional cost. Kala Brand gig
bag is included.

Bass string sets
Road Toad Black Pahoehoe polyurethane strings. Strings come terminated for
mounting in the Road Toad Big Bufo Bass. Strings are elastic in nature, so
diameters will decrease under tension. See the following link for variations:

K&K Sound Products
Pure Preamp is a beltclip style preamp with individual volume, bass, midrange
and treble adjustment. Frequency response is 10-30000Hz.  ....... $85.00
Pure Bass Pickup is an internal passive pickup system for 4-string acoustic
bass. It amplifies the acoustic bass with a warm, natural, and woody tone. It
has good output and does not require a preamp.         ............... $70.00
