Primavera is a hardwood from
Central America and looks much
like a yellow mahogany. It is a little
lighter in weight than mahogany
and produces a warm mellow tone.
With a slightly deeper body than a
normal tenor, coupled with low G
tuning, this instrument puts an
emphasis on deep low tones. The
radius on the fingerboard is greater
than I would normally do, but since
it was pre-radiused when
purchased, I only decreased it
slightly. A picture below shows the
fingerboard profile.
